Theme, graphics and soundtrack

As we have indicated, the graphics – although very smartly done and in particular the two sphinxes with an uplighter effect – make us feel as if we’ve seen them before. Another dark temple, decorated with lots of ancient images on its walls, which is a bit overdone. But action changes considerably once you start winning and scatters begin to pile up. Yet they are slightly scary to look at since their wings do not flap at all when they invade the grid!

How to play Anubis Moon

The only thing that is scattered in the game are scatter symbols. Scatter symbols can be on any reel and a combination of symbols will appear wherever they hit. When three or more scatters land, they do not pay immediately but stay there and cause a respin to occur. Respins come to an end when no new symbol lands on the reels or 20 scatters fill up all the spaces available in the grid thereby covering it up completely. At the conclusion of this respins round then, all scatter icons will award their respective pays.

Anubis Moon review: our verdict

From the slightly detailed section of short bonus features, you would have realized that this is a very simple game. Though it can pay well; the gameplay is quite ordinary and only comes to life when scatters start to fall on reels. It was not bad but I think it could have done with a little more invention for me to perceive it as distinctive from the rest.
