Theme, graphics and soundtrack
A dark forest with enormous lollipops sticking out of the ground is the setting, and the grid itself is luminous, with tokens inside circular frames set against plain white. Gretel and the witch are on each side of it, banging onto its sides while spinning causing them to hit each other. Whenever she strikes it, Gretel’s voice sounds like a tennis player grunting. The witch’s outfit is not ideal for a cold night scene; Gretel’s dress suits her much better in this regard. At the same time, Hansel is behind bars on the reels.
The soundtrack is somewhat reminiscent of Harry Potter, and the animation is visually appealing. It’s not extraordinary but quite entertaining in a good way.

On top left and right hand sides of the grid screen, there are Scatter Symbol meters that show the total number of scatters. If a round in the base game activates both free games at once, Free Game 1 begins first then Free Game 2. The meters will be reset to zero when the free games begin.
Free Game Feature 1
The game triggers 12 complimentary spins, the same line bet as with the initiating game. Acceptable but not particular exciting, the base game is. It is a pity that there isn’t a proper bonus game considering how rich the theme actually is. This has lots of free spin action, but it does not seem to be quite balanced. It’s a mild distraction with decent RTP but it can’t hold anyone’s attention for long.
