Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

The graphics of the game are like any other game in Mancala – crisp, vivid and primary coloured. However, purple and cyan were surely not so popular in the Middle Ages. Here we have two kings each with a dragon one being green and the other being red. The older king counterpart of the orange dragon seems to be there.

Is it possible that this is the younger king challenging his dad to take over the kingdom? Maybe. However, we are expecting an orange triumph since the old man’s dragon appears to be in better condition.

The other elements within the game mostly are made up of dragons or wrapped in dragon scales. Except for the green eye that looks like a cat’s eye, although, I have not come across any furry felines.

It is a medieval soundtrack, rather fitting and even triumphant. To fit the game’s theme better, the remaining sound effects follow that medieval idea by not venturing into the digital era with obvious breaks in their theme. Instead of bleeps, whooshes or zaps, there are just foot stomping, clacking and gunfire. This was also true of dragons in the Middle Ages.
