Largest and costliest cut diamond in the world is Kohinoor. It was discovered in India around 12th to 14th century AD, but was taken by British Government after Queen Victoria’s annexation of India in 1848. Nowadays, it belongs to the British Crown Jewels, traditionally believed to be bringing bad luck to its wearer, but forget about all that! The debate is still on whether it should go back to India or stay in England. The game design was inspired by the Indian subcontinent. The style is applied to everything in the game starting from font, symbols and background. Two ornate arched windows with reels set between them overlook palaces and pink sunsets. We don’t know where exactly this is but it could easily be Rajasthan where India’s grandest palaces are. The symbols include a sequence of gems representing four card suits, as well as Hindu god Ganesha, Taj Mahal, prince and princess.
