Introduction

Step back in time and walk into a 17th-century Tap House, where highwaymen gather to discuss their vile activities. It is a classic five-reel slot with three rows, but what makes it stand out among our free slots collection is that the game is played on the whole one line of three-reel layout and there are new symbols. There are scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 during base games. If two scatter symbols land, then the third reel will re-spin giving another opportunity to activate this bonus round. Wilds occur on all reels in both regular game mode and bonus play.

Theme, Graphics & Soundtrack

Tap House is a slot based in an animated beer hall with concealed evilness. In the main game, it’s a lively and busy establishment with consoles full of brightly coloured symbols showing drinkers having their drinks, barmaid, barstool and pint of ale as well as playing card elements from Ace to ten. A happy violin sound plays at the background. In the bonus game, a hidden side of this inn is revealed where hooded figures sit bent at tables instead of grinned customers. With smaller reel layout, different symbols replace these ones. These contain barmen, highwaymen, pieces of golden money, cutlasses and pistols where empty icons are presented by red ‘X’ marks crossing through them.

Tap House Free Spins feature

Tap House Review

Tap House is a medium to high volatility slot with plain 10 Free Spins feature and a respin on the base game. In our test run, we received one bonus but no wins came from it. While the symbols on the Free Spins were completely different from those in the base game, there is no significant difference in terms of possible winnings between the base and bonus games except that three Wilds may win you 22,500x your bet on the bonus. Generally, we were disappointed by Tap House’s basic features; however, it must be remembered that this is not a typical Arcadem release and they have other impressive offerings as well. If you love tavern themed slots with lower variance and more interesting features then WMS Bier Haus slot might be for you.
